A little turkey + a lot of pie!

Turkey Day + Black Friday via Instagram (because that’s about all the time I had snap pictures)!

I hope everyone have a wonderful Thanksgiving! I certainly did! Lots of fun + good eats with friends + family!  The family had a chance to meet my brother’s gf (he never brings girls home so it’s serious) & she was just completely awesome & fit in the the family’s craziness oh so perfectly!

We kept it pretty simple & stayed around the house, staying warm, and enjoying everyone’s company. Friday, my sister, nieces, & I did venture out for some shopping (which I have never gone Black Friday shopping). It was quite the experience, but we had a great time & I found some really cute clothes + a few X-mas presents, that my oldest niece already snatched up so she could wear to school! Mission accomplished!

As you can see the pups were in a turkey coma as much as I was. Apparently they felt the need to all sit on me at once too. Jealous little beings I say! I love them all though!
I also had the chance to go dress shopping with my niece for a Military Ball Gown!! It was the first time I wasn’t the one trying on the dress. Of course we found the perfect dress for her && it fit her to a “T”! The dress doesn’t need to be altered one single bit! Now that NEVER happens! It was truly meant to be.
So what all did you guys do over the holiday? Eat lots of yummy food at least, I hope! I could definitely eat some more pumpkin pie right about now 🙂

What you need:
-5″ Fabric squares (however many tags/ornaments you want to make)

-Chalk!

————————————————————————————————————–

-Take one square of fabric & one square of chalk cloth & lay ugly sides together (pretty sides facing out).
-Then trace your cookie cutter with a chalk pencil on the chalk cloth.

-Loop your twine and place the two ends between the chalk cloth & fabric (eyeballing the center point at the top )

-Carefully pick up all three pieces and move over to your sewing machine.
-Begin stitching the shape, on the chalk line.

-Once you’ve stitched all the way around, cut out the shape leaving an extra 1/8-1/4″ of material around the shape.
